Proform main body question

I have a 670 cfm street avenger carb. I'd like to add one of the bodies to it if possible. They have one for a 750cfm vac secondaries. I know the metering blocks and all would fit BUT i was wondering about the butterflys. I'm assuming that wouldnt work.

I thought maybe there was a way this would work because the body for a 650-750cfm DP are the same...

According to that it will not work. It says only the 750 VS....

I just dont see how the DP body could work on a 750cfm and a 650cfm...I know the butterflys are different...

I'm confused.

Your baseplate needs to say numbers 172 or 173 on the bottom. I'll send you a word document via pm.

My baseplate is the same as a 600cfm holley I checked that out.

I will pull the street avenger off the shelf at work and see what number it shows.

Id like to be able to use one of the bodies...it would save me a few bucks.

They have one body for VS and another for DP.

I know but would it work with mine?

The butterfly sizes have to be different don't they?

Only numbers I could find on my baseplate were 11466 and 11469... 11466 is on the top and 11469 was on the bottom.

Butterflys have 109 stamped on them.

I said baseplate - the butterflys should be stamped 172/173. The baseplate bores are suppose to be 1 11/16 inch. Like five7kid said, I think the VS have different sizes.

Crap it probably won't work then. My butterflys are stamped 109.
