i have a speed demon VS 750 just bought it and it seems no matter what i do the four barels just wing right open after about 1/2 throtal causing it to bog. at least i think thats the problem i can free rev the motor and watch them open up and when i disconect the linkage and open them wide open i can see a generous amout of fuel pour in "open them slowly of course so it dont bog out" i first tried to stretch the stock spring out some "dumb i know but that it was worth a try" but the still open i evon tried throwing 2 springs in there making it slightly hard to evon open by hand and it still boged anything past about 3/4 throttal. if i hold it at wot in like 3rd you will slowly feel it clear up but if i back my foot out of it alittle bit it picks up and go's. im going to go out and leave the cap alittle lose for the vacume chamber for the secondaries and try it like that.. but at like half throtal it feels strong just bogs anyhthing past that so if you have any ideas they will all help evon if you dont think its the carb i need to figure this out thanx!

 

well i dont think loosening the cap to let vacume out helpped not sure tho cause when i took off i bent/broke my pinion gear.. it still drives just with a knock knock knock theres a wrecked v6 camaro sitting in the yard i was thinking about robing the rear out of but i think i'll burn that one up too.. no budget for a new one spent my hole camaro budget on the motor this year.. if its not one think its another with that car... what if i bought one of them spl rear ends??? and put the stock 3.42's outta the v6 on it think it will work or will i need a spacer and all that jaz... i'll post in the drive train board too.. cant belive this happend...

 

well, i broke down and called BG tech suport and they said im under carbing my motor and i need to do to a mighty demom 650cfm.. instead of the speed demon so just to let every one know thats thinking about buying a speed demon that if your running a cam that as 240 or high duration at .50 dont do it. its to much cam.. im at 246 duration and .506 510 lift and he told me a 650 mighty demon is what i need i had 12 pounds of vacume at idel too.... around 9.5 : 1 compretion ported heads ... $400 bucks waisted sh*t happens i guess

 

ok thanks for the replies!!!!!!!!!!! i tied my vacume secondaries off and it still bogs at wot i let off to about 3/4 and it picks back up and go's i tried a FOUR hoe 1 inch spacer but it didnt work is it a jetting problem should i put bigged jets in demon tech suport say i should of went to a mighty demon. but im not going to jus waist 400 bucks soo any help!???? please
