Car: 1984 Trans Am 15th year Anniversary Edition
Engine: 305 H.O
Transmission: 4 speed OD
starting, gas, running rich, 84 t/a problems!?!?!
Okay, this is the problem....EVERYDAY I have to put gas inside the carb in order for the car to start. The car will start right up after I do that unless it sits for 8 hours, then I'd have to "prime" the carb again. It is a ccc qjet????
I'm also running very rich, I've replaced o2 sensor.
Is my carb shot? should i buy a new one, Or is this a semi-easy fix

Axle/Gears: Economy gears..once again, WHY?!?
Your float is probably bad and soaking up all the fuel in the fuel bowl. Get a new float and replace it. If you don't know what you are doing as far as replacing it goes, get a book on your carbuerator. Just a suggestion, I don't know all that much about carb's either.
