I have a Barry grant 750 that i`d like some info about this carb is before the Demond`s it has BG stamped into it but the fuel bowls say holley??

From what i have read over and over a Demon is a Moded holley.

Barry originally modded Holleys; then he started making a few replacement/upgrade parts; then he started making whole carbs.

A Demon isn't a "modified Holley"; but its design is heavily based on Holley's.

He had a line of carbs before demon called "Claw"... and before that he modded holleys and put his name on it.b

I just looked at the pic... that's just a tricked out holley.... nothing bad about that though.

Yup, its either a carb that was built by BG quite awhile ago (before Demons), or its a carb that someone sent to BG for tuning / modifying...

well that carb is ALOT like mine, I paid alot for it I think it`s alot anyway, $550 Canadian everyone I told about this carb were almost drooling over it lol, So I take it it`s a great carb thats good.

I'm sure its a great carb... nothing wrong with a tricked out holley... but for $550 Canadian you could almost have had one of these:




The one you found on ebay doesn't even have annular or downleg boosters...

Their 750 carb was so similar to the 3310(?) Holley that they encountered some legal issues with Holley. 650 was the same deal I'm sure. It's a Holley for all intents and purposes, and standard replacement BG and Holley parts fit it. Good carb if you're into Holleys.

I sold one on eBay a little while ago. 750 with no choke.
