Any respectable HP/TRQ numbers and 1/4 times with good traction at the track?

Id like to know urs too ......my cam specs are 230/236 duration with .487 lift, and probably just a few minor suspension mods like drag shocks for now, and ill be running a set of 275/295s out back of one of the better tires out there, havent decided yet.

those are huge heads for such a small cam. does that thing lack low end torque at all?

i'm running larger cams in 305s at the track. also, street tires are pointless at the track if you want to go fast. look into some slicks if you want to hook up.

The best place to call for cam help would be comp cams(1-800-999-0853). There are plenty of cams too choose from, for the best left you should look some research and find out what is the maximum amount of air that your heads flow and at what lift? The duration is the power band and the lobe separation should be matched up with the weight of you car. also most (if not all) cam specs for lift are at 1.5 rocker arm ratio if you have 1.6 and you want to find out how much lift you would have you need to get the gross lift and divide buy 1.5 then multiply it buy 1.6 of just get your cam lift if and multiply it buy 1.6(or your rocker arm ratio)

I have the same cam (XE274) only with smaller heads and more stall. I'm running a 750cfm Speed Demon and it works absolutely perfect... Keep in mind Demons are said to flow like 10% more than advertised so my Demon is quite a bit bigger than your Holley. I've never managed to get this thing to bog or backfire

Also, I've called Comp Cams 3 times in the past for a cam recommendation on the exact same motor. Every single time they recommended me a different cam and never once recommended the XE274 that I'm running now
