Which Carburetor?

Whats the best carb to use on an 89 Firebird Formula with LT1 350 Block with .202 heads and hydraulic cam?

I was told Holley double pumper 650 or 700 cfm.

daily driver, you can get away with a 600
race car, I'd go with a 750.

a 650dp will serve you just fine. what about a factory q-jet?? any thought about using one of those. They support a decent stock 350 fairly well.

Got any more specs on your mill? Going off the info we do have, I'd say a 650 is about right if you are using a manual secondary carb.

no matter what you do go with a holley or demon. do NOT get a quad jet or edelbrock lol they r for cruisers u will not get power from the.... i would go with a 700 cfm or 750 u can always adjust the jets accordingly id rather have a little bit to much carb then not enough

not at all true. do some searching on these boards and you will find quite a few threads that prove this statement wrong. for his application a q-jet will do just fine. he doesn't SEEM to have any special motor other than increased valve size and an exhaust. there is no need for him to spend 400+ on a carb that wont perform any different that a q-jet on this application. as soon as we get MORE SPECS we can help him along just nicely.
