argh im dumb
I went out and bought myself a new performer rpm intake, and I own a qjet...
yeah I think you know where this is going..
anyways, the qjet performer rpm manifold was like 200 and the non qjet one was 130, I figured I could buy an adapter
I cant find an adapter for the life of me.
anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

they sell adapters at all the chain parts stores.. advance, pep-boys, autozone, etc.. made by Mr. Gasket, Spectre, etc. I have one here I was given for free.. they are POS's, but they work.. you should just make a plywood one.. works much better and you don't get the heat transfer as much.

haha, I was actually thinking of making it out of wood but I ended up buying one off summit for like 14 bucks *came out to like 24 after s/h*
I have one more question, I need a bracket for the cables, I dont know what to buy because I dont know exactly what im looking for. All I know is that my current bracket wont fit or work with it :\
Any ideas/suggestions?
I'm sure someone has a performer rpm with a qjet sitting on top somewhere in here!

when I hooked up my q-jet 400 pontiac motor, I jsut went and bought the throttle cable/kickdown bracket for the holley and just ground off one of the sides so it fit the q-jet. this can be had at the same above mentioned parts stores. Otherwise, not sure waht you can get.. Summit doesn't ahve anything?

You could try using the stock bracket with a longer intake bolt and bushing. With a little creative bending it might get things in the right spot. Make sure you've got the right geometry on the TV cable when you're done though, or your transmission won't live long.
