carbs and 305's
i know im gonna catch hell for this, but i swear it wasnt my fault! when i bought my car, it came with a 750cfm eldelbrock carb on my 305. thats what the previous owner installed, not me. i have recently parked the car do to a "valve tapping" problem until i can get time to fix due to my crazy schedule. i have heard that 600cfm carb would be perfect for my little ol' 305. does that sound right? please offer your suggestions, and/or words of wisdom.

Does the 750CFM run ok? If so, leave it, for $400 it isn't worth it....
600CFM might work a bit better, but like I say, probably not worth the cash to "upgrade" it...
Any mods on the 305? any future planned mods?

when i bought the car it was already modded for me, but this is the list: comp cams cam, vortec heads, edelbrock intake and carb, msd igniton, full 3" exaust system with hooker shorties and 80's series flowmaster(no cat). i know the fuel pump has been upgraded and the tranny is new. the motor has also been rebuilt recently. I did add the z28 grill and foglights. looks-wise, its not as hot as my old '90 RS i had, but thats ok. i do love my thirdgen.
