engine wiring?

i have a 1985 z28 that had a e-qjet.i swapped in a 350 and i am trying to figure out what wire i hook up to my choke on the mechanical qjet.so which wire is it.thanks

It's the same wire that was connected to the choke on the carb you removed.

IIRC, it should have been a green one, single spade connector.

cool.if i would have removed the e-carb,i would have put it back on there.the previous owner removed it and put a busted up edelbrock on.he ran the mixture screws through the primary's,what a clown

yep,those two mixture screws on the front of the edelbrock carb.the primaries are the two barrels on the front?

he screwed the screws right into the primary barrels.

As in the tips of the screws are protruding through holes in the primary bores? That's what they're supposed to do.

Yes, yes. I know that. I know that already. I got that out of it on the first read-through.

You used the term "clown" to describe the one who did this? That was being too kind.

Are the TPS, MC, and kicker solenoid wires and connectors still intact?
