matching to a carb
I have a (gutted) 650 edelbrock Carb. by that i meen every part of the choke assembly removed..
I also have a set of old 350 64 cc heads. i know nothing of crompression ratios well i dont know anything about the matching and ratios period. i want to match edelbrock parts to this what do you think.
the 650 carb
Edelbrock Torker Intake manifold 2500-6500 rpms
energizer crane cram, 270 degree .450 lift and 2200-5200 rpms
stiffer valves just in case PREMIUM from K-Motion
I want to match to get my combination HP, Torque, and rpm band
I just want opinions no aguments please
just some help

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Get rid of the Torker, and use a Perf RPM instead.
The rest of it should play fairly well together.
Use flat-top pistons if it's a 350. Shoot for about 9-7-10:1 REAL compression; taking into account ALL the variables, including the deck clearance and valve reliefs.
With that small of a cam, the low-bid K-Motion valve springs won't matter.

yea i dont know muchabout this stuff but i read matching was a big part in it..with a rpm intake what would match that...i do want to do some springs im afraid since its out of a 70s truck it may be weak..but the pistons are the 4 valve release and its bored.30 over.
but i just understood yesterday that all the rpm ranges mean thats when it gets the power and when it stops.. witch was pretty new to me..
but what would macth the intake, the carb and heads
THANKS
