Holleys are gas mileage hogs. The 4160s have bleeds sized to intentionally be too rich no matter what, because according to the folks at Holley, this way amateur tuner's can't make the carb so lean that it will burn up the motor. They work well for WOT at the strip but will definitely be a lot less efficient at cruise on the street than a Qjet or an Eddie/Carter 600. I'd say you will see 15-20 mpg highway with that setup, 10-15 around town.

It all depends on your tune. Chevy High Performance had an article recently where they had a fast camaro (556 hp, 512 lb ft) equiped with a holley and they knocked down 21 mpg on the way to the track. Search the article. The article was called tune your carb like EFI. Its in the jan 06 issue.
