took apart carb- trouble!!!!

well, i took it apart .waited a few days out disgust .cuz it was the wrong kit for my carb.now i dont what to set this float at or ,how the he!! the rear top butterfly hooks up??????the carb no.is 17084201 0864 hxz. i don't have enuff $ to buy the kit it calls 4 for awhile.

I don't think that you should of went ripping into that thing without atleast searching a bit on the net for it's design features. What carb do you have and why did you tear into it?

well i took it apart bcuz ,it kept flooding out.all i know is it carb w/ electric crap on it .it came off my 84 berlinetta but it don't mean came off that car.so i don't really know if it originally from this car.

well,i found a carb like mine and studied it .now i can put back 2gether .also found web page with all the specs for it.
