Can I use a cc q-jet from a 305 on a 350?
My 305 developed a massive oil leak so now I have an excuse to swap in a 350! My question is: Can I use the computer controlled quadrajet, computer and O2 sensor from the 305 on the 350? Will I have to change the prom or re-jet the carb? Or will the computer be able to adjust this for me?
Thank you in advance for your help.

It will work fine. You might have to re-jet the secondaries and play with the timing, depends on how much power the 350 is making. There is alot of info on the board about this, including using the ZZ4 chip, etc from the GM crate package designed for this car.

I'm running mine with the stock LG4 chip. Same rods/hanger as with LG4 & souped-up LG4. Idle adjustments is all it took between the configurations.

Thanks for your replies. It sounds like I'll have no (major) problems keeping the cc q-jet on a 350. I'm not looking for a lot of hp...maybe 250 or so- depending on what engine I find for it. I will do a search on the zz4, too.
