gas shooting out of carb

gas shooting out of carb

just installed new engine.primed oil with old distributor and as it was turning gas started shooting out of the carb.someone please help me

fuel pressure too high, floats leaking and soaking with fuel, needle and seat dirty/stuck

feul pressure is at 6 psi.using intank pump with 3 port regulator.i did the tbi to carb swap.

figured it out.when oil pressure sensor senses pressure the feul pump kicks on while im spinning oil pump.apperently the feul pressure is too high needle stuck.i didnt know 6 psi was too much

new problem.how do i fix the gas from shooting out carb.i dont think 6psi is too much.is something broken or just needs to be cleaned?

6psi is not too much. where does the fuel excactly comes out of the carb?

the overflow tubes.dropped pressure to 4 psi and it quit.maby one of the floats is way off cause my buddy came by after i got it cranked and was tuning carb and seen one of the floats was way off

more than likely your floats were not adjusted right, or your needle/seat was stuck open... it happens.. if it was a brand new carb. i would say Floats.
