maybe a dumb question, but...

I found a hose that goes from the back of my carter carb, and its not connected to anything... It LOOKS like it connects to my master cyl... but what the hell would that be for?

its got a one way valve, that would only allow air in, but not out... anyone know what the hell it could be? lol

My guess would be pcv valve

It's the vacuum supply for your power brake booster. The one-way valve keeps vacuum on the booster when the engine is off, so you don't lose power brakes in the event the engine stops while you're rolling.

No, it connects to the brake booster behind the master cylinder.

what is this hose called, i tried to goto the auto parts store, but noone seems to know whats its called? i said a brake booster hose, they are telling me to get steel lines it looks different on the inside, also anyone know what size it is?

3/8"... ask for PCV hose, it's the same thing.
