700 double pumper, fuel leaking what gasket do i need

I just got to start my motor today after rebuilding it. I'm completely lost when it comes to carburetion, but for some reason when I turn the car off I can hear fuel leaking. I know it sounds weird but you can hear it, it just leaking on the primary side in one barrel, the driver side. If I back off the idle screw it actually forms a puddle in the one barrel. It doesn't go over the top, but I have no idea why it's leaking there. My only guess is I need a new baseplate gasket. I checked and tightened the baseblate, but it didn't make a difference. I spent $245 on this carb. Here's a link to what was done to it,
eBay Motors: 650 Holley 4777 B Grant Free Ship? Double Pumper (item 8061144351 end time May-06-06 07:50:08 PDT)

He wont help because I bought it like 6 months ago. I want to get this on the road, please help me.

Also I have a slight fuel leak from the fittings that thread into the carb. They are the fittings that attach to the fuel line. What could I use to seal them? I have no idea.

I just took the metering block off of the primary side and noticed there was holes on both sides where the idle mixture screws are. I'm guessing they aren't supposed to be there. But would they cause the leak i'm talking about.

I didn't think I asked a complicated question, no one can help.

Is the fuel coming out of the booster after you shut the engine off? High float level can cause fuel to come out of your boosters. Make sure you have checked your float level.

It isn't coming out of the boosters, it's coming out of a little slot at the bottom of the barrel. I took the carb off today and looked at it again. I would've taken pics if I had a camera.

What about the idle screws, I don't think there should be holes, it seems someone overtightened them.

I thought i'd have the answer fast, but I guess not. I used jb weld to seal the holes, only one was through, not that anyone cares.
Last thirdgen i'll own after this nightmare, not saying this was a big problem, but it all adds up.
