Running rich
Does anyone know how to adjust q-jet on 87 305 lg4? Just moved choke counter clockwise and seemed to help but still running rich. car does not idle at 1500 at cold starts either

initially i'd want to say, get a buddy to start it up cold and watch the carb, see if choke snaps shut on initial accelerator tap, then opens slightly when fired up. Then make sure fast idle cam is up. Possibly replace choke thermostat if it's not helping while adjusting.
however! Knowledge is power, see if you can get anything from these

thanks will try a few and yes real low 750 on cold starts and idle all the time. sometimes i have to screw in on idle screw on side to raise it. idle falls on its own sometimes when i dont run the car for a day or two.
