It has a rebuilt 350 from a 67. I know that it at least has an aftermarket intake and headers. IM not sure what kind of a cam it has in it, i know it gets about 5 miles to the gallon if im lucky. it burns through a full tank of gas every 2 hours or so of just idling. im looking for about 300 hp out of it plus a small shot of nitrous. is that enough info?

the cid helps. What about things like rpm range, auto or manual, single or dual plane intake, etc.
I would guess 600cfm w/ vacuum secondary for you.

BTW, you gotta work on that mpg. That is way way off, but that will come with tuning.

Something tells me you have a very bad mix of 1984 and 1967 parts.

The carb is most likely not the root of the problem.

how would i even start to troubleshoot it. i know there might be some issues with the way he setup the charging system because of the differences between the voltage regulators, but othere than that thats all i know about the swap

5 mpg!!!! my 85 with a 350 and holley 600 gets 21 if i don't run it hard.

my 86 4x4 sierra with big tires and a 350 gets 12.

i would check for a fuel leak.

i am putting al. heads 190cc and a comp cam 274 on my camaro and i am going to use either a holley 670 or 700 vac. secondaries. i would also say a 600cfm would be plenty.
