Its a 350 .030 over. comp xe268. vortec heads. edel rpm air gap.
trans is a 700 with a 3.73 posi in the back. oh and the car is a daily driver but it should see some track/dyno use

650DP or 650 speed demon. I am currently running a 600 VS, and will purchase a 650DP,and have it tuned, before i hit the track again...

...tell me you have an above stock stall? please.

double pumper! they aren't any less streetable, get the same fuel economy as the vacuum secondary carbs (when tuned properly and you can keep your foot out of it) and they perform WAY better.

as soon as you get the money, it's gonna need a converter to get the full potential out of it. as long as you have intentions on putting one in it, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

You made the right choice for sure, but like MW66 said you really need a converter, even if its a small one. With that set of 3:73s you will get a nice advantage with the smaller carb and say a 2400/2600 range converter, you next problem will be getting it to stick......lol.

good choice on the demon, i hear they're great carbs. wish i had one...

...now for a custom 9 inch converter, then you'll be buying new tires every other week!

glad you went double pumper, i had a 750 VS before i knew any better and the 750 double pumper was a much needed improvment, now I have a 850 double pumper and wouldn't have it any other way

holly cow.. an 850 DP if its a small block it must be a beast lol...
anyway thanks for the positive reinforcement.. and about the converter.. I plan on trying out what I have for a while since the $$ is low, but if im not getting off the line i'll get one. oh and about making it stick.. I dont expect to have problems with that... im runnin 265/55/15`s maybe im wrong but the 307 in it now cant power brake with the new tires lol.. it launches pretty well I think for the stock rear suspension.
