Hey all, I am seriously debating swapping to carb due to simplicity and getting rid of the TPI cluster. It's a pain to work on. I haven't really found a thread that talks about the speedo, gages, CTS, and all the other crap going on electronically. What about the MSD, etc does all that have to get rewired somehow?? Do you literally pull the computer out of the car?? I'd like to keep the harness around for originality purposes in the future, etc. I guess a new distributor would need to be added too?

Kind of lost on the EFI to carb conversion. any help would be great

 

Go to the main page and read the tech article on swapping from EFI to carb in a thirdgen (pretty straightforward write-up). You'll probably still have some questions but that article is the best place to start.
