I have a 88 camaro 2.8 car that I'm putting in a carbbed 350 and need to know what psi regulator to get to retain the stock fuel pump?

you can use any regualtor as long as its a bypass regulator. i used the barry grant #17021 diaphragm bypass and its working great for me. thier are quite a few options out thier just make sure you are not using a deadhead style regulator. your stock pump needs a return line if you dont have one then you will burn it out within a week.

Anyone ever use the NOS 15851? I'm swapping out a TPI for a carbed 383 and thinking some day I would go back to FI and this one has a wide pressure range 5-50.

i'd use mallory 4309 for carbs and buy a FI only regulator if you ever made that swap again.

That sounds like a decent idea, I would just be concerned that if 5psi is the lowest that gauge goes - and a carbed 350 opperated normally between 5-6psi, then you wouldnt be able to diagnose a fuel pressure drop under 5psi.

the regulator has nothing to do with verifying a pressure drop issue thats what the fuel pressure guage between the regulator and the carb is for... wich im sure your gonna remember to install right fg....lol

a carb fuel pressure guage goes from 0-15psi in 1psi increments
