Mutilated secondary tab.
I just want to say that I went and did the qjet mod of mutilating the tab that prevents the carb's secondaries from opening fully.
I am VERY happy with the results. Ive got an aftermarket cam, home ported heads, edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold, and headers. It gave me a noticable extra bit of punch when I nail the gas. Very pleased.
Easiest free horse power ever.

hmm, I did that, but in search of eliminating my bog, I undid it. (turns out my bog was from a fuel pump failing, well, hopefully that was it's only cause).
I used a setscrew to make this easy to go back and forth, maybe i'll back that off and try without it.
I'm glad it worked for ya!
