correct throttle bracket?
hey all,
i was surfin ebay last night and found this, and was wondering if its what i need. i have a 350 witha stock quadrajet intake and carb from a camaro,was wondering if this was the right bracket, and if i should buy it. thanks eveyone, it'll really help me out.

Whoa, $22 for an old q-jet throttle bracket!
If you can't do better at a junkyard or on TGO classifieds, well, you can use your imagination from there.

so that wont work? i have no idea what i need even looks like... i have never even worked with a carb before, so i dunno.. thanks for your help

It bolts to the intake itself, not to the carb.
This thread https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...n-1st-car.html has a bunch of pictures in it. I tried looking through real quick, the best I could find are in posts #419 & 457. There may be better ones. They blasted & painted all of the brackets for the engine and took pictures of them, but I didn't locate which page they were on. You can look, though.

get one off any LG4 engine or whatever engine has your same fuel system on it
not just f bodies but also G and B bodies had the same exact ones and 80s 4 bbl trucks too(3/4 and 1 ton mainly)
nothing 70s and older will work for you unless you hvae a th350 or manual trans, but even then the distance will be wrong for your cable length
