Want a new carb...

Hey guys i have a 84 Z28 with a LG4, 4 BBL quadrajet and since this is a fourm on this car i was wondering what the best carb would be to put on this car, such as the brand and the CFM. The biggest thing im worried about is to make sure the car runs with the new carb, like without all the extra garbage the quadradjet has, and how hard it would be to convert to a less emissioned carb, is pretty much what i mean. Anyone else that did the new carb swap with great success let me know. Thanks a lot.

Keep the carb you have. you would be wasting money on a new carb and also If you did get a new carb your computer cant hook up to it.

Just rebuild your old carb, you'll be much happier with it. I bought an Edelbrock, but that was just because I'm starting from scratch with a 4cyl to V8 swap. Just wanted something that would get the car on the road...

you should keep the Qjet. They deliver good performance when working properly.
