Sound good to you?
I have a buddy with an 88 t-top camaro with a freshly rebuilt 355 and freshly rebuilt 3 speed tranny with a shift kit. The car has a home made roll cage, moroso fuel cooler, long tubes(can't remember who makes 'em), true duals, comp cam(not sure of specs), sfc, 3.73's with welded rearend. It also has a 750cfm(yeah too big) demon and edelbrock rpm manifold. May also be a couple other little things.
The bad part is, it has a cracked head.
The good part is, he only wants $600.
He raced another friends modded 07 v6 mustang running high 14's and put an ungodly amount of lengths in between them with 305 heads on the car...sounds like a good buy for a project car to me. What do u guys think?
Btw, the body is perfect, no sagging doors, do dings. Spray can paint job tho. And the guy is one of my best friends, no screw jobs goin on here.

Yep, and I forgot about the new shocks and struts and the battary to hatch relocation. The only thing really bad about the car is the interior(still better than some), but that can be fixed..not gonna be a daily driver anyway.

New set of heads: $1000-1500
Car: $600
Total value once its fixed and running: at least $4000.
I dont much like that welded rear end tho, stupid.

Yeah I'm probably gettin it today. I don't like the rear end either but the guy who had it before my friend used it as a strip car...think it ran like a 12 flat and the guy weighed like 400. lol

New iron heads are in the $850 range for something like a World Products Sportsman II or Dart Iron Eagle. Either are very good heads for the money.

Picked it up yesterday. I'm really excited about fixing this thing up. Gonna try and get a digital cam and get some pics.
