Air Cleaner Question
I'm building the new motor for my Firebird it's a non CC Q-jet
equipped 305 V8, I have almost all the parts for the build, but I still need to find an air cleaner for it. I want to use a stock setup for the LG4, not an open element.
Trouble is at the local yards the carb'd V8 thirdgens are always missing the air cleaners.
So my question is are there any other types GM cars that share the same (or similar) air cleaner housing as the stock LG4 motors? I ask because I need to make sure it will fit under my stock hood.

Monte Carlo air cleaners should work.
Look for one with a larger snorkel. Or, make yours into a dual snorkel.
