Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
The first thing is to read this https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/carb...rd-please.html . The first link in that sticky is a tech article on doing your swap.
I'd sure want to know what 4 bbl carb and want intake you have before giving my blessing. Also wouldn't hurt to know why you want to do this.

Re: TBI to a Carb on a 1990
because the TBI that i have has been torn apart by a previous owner.
I don't know the specifics on the 4 bbl carb and what intake im getting but i can check later. (still talking to the guy i'm buying the parts from)
I just want to make sure that I'm getting the right parts and that what i'm looking to do is even feasible.
Thanks for any and all Feedback.

It's pretty involved.
I did a write up on it for my myspace blog, actually...
But it's relatively thorough, should give you an idea of what you're in for. I lightly touch base on as many different things as I could think of. What parts you need, what you need to do, how you need to do it, how to wire things, etc.
The frustrating part will be separating the ECM wires from the rest of hte wires and reusing the ones you need to keep, such as the one to the fuel pump relay and so on. Thats just a job of tracing wires and figuring out where they go, and whether you still need them. But after you get done you can throw the ECM in the trash and not worry about it anymore.

You can find complete TPI systems on ebay or at your local salvage yard for a reasonable cost. In the end it should be much less work to fix the system you have rather than convert to a carb.

I was under the impression it was disassembled and/or missing components and he thought it was less involved to convert to carb rather than fix the TBI system. My point is that parts are cheap and there is plenty of information available to fix whatever issues the current TBI system may have.

What parts do you need? I just pulled my L03 out, I've got a lot of TBI parts laying around...

If you just need a TBI unit I've got one if you want it. Worked fine when it came off the car a month or so ago.
