Missing problem

When my car is cold and i start it up it runs fine but when i start to give it some gas it will start missing around 2500 rpms. i cant accelerate at all with out it missing. it takes about 15min of driving then it clears it self up and runs fine. If i floor it after it is warm it will miss once then drive fine through the rest of the gears. But once i slow down and start to accelerate again it starts to miss again. anyone have any ideas why this is happening. I have a 350 with a holley on it.

Re: Missing problem

Two things: Does it have EGR...check or clean the EGR.
And...play with the timing...if it still does it,..check the rotor phase in the distibutor.
