Clutch problem

I have a 92 camaro rs. The problem is when I press my clutch in, it seems as though the car is still in gear. When the car is cold, shifting is easy and without a problem but as it heats up, shifting becomes near impossible. Please help.

Re: Clutch problem

first thing check fluid level . if your problem just started and all was well before . well , you may have a leak . any noise , binding , etc. ? a little more info. needed . first check fluid level in clutch reservoir . good luck ...

Re: Clutch problem

Reservoir is full... it doesn't make any noises except grinding into gears when warmed up. At stop light I put clutch in and it still pulls car forward.

Re: Clutch problem

Probably a bad pilot bushing/bearing. (whichever happens to be in it)

Leave the hydraulics alone. 99.999% of the time, they either work, or they don't... not much in-between.

Since you'll have to have the whole thing apart, might as well put in a new clutch while you're at it.
