Will this work for me?
I'm pretty sure my carb needs a rebuild, and I'm not that confident in my abilities. I found this carb on ebay, but it's a little different. Does anyone know if this carb will work? Thanks!

Re: Will this work for me?
rebuilding a carb isnt bad at all. i did my first one (holley) a while ago with no major difficulties. i found a good book and just followed the steps. simple as can be.
if you doubt anything, just take tons of pictures.
it is a good learning experiance and if you are really interested in carbed SBC's, you will definitely be doing it again in the future.
and what is to say that the carb on ebay is in perfect working order?

The fuel inlet, choke, and throttle arm aren't correct for our cars. It might be okay for the price if you need parts, but I wouldn't count on it as a direct replacement. The paint sure was a bad move.
