hesitates at low rpms

hesitates at low rpms
i have an 86 ta original a jet set up in the past couple of days it has developed a hesitation at low rpms the only code its throwing is the coolant temperature sensor i wondered if this sensor could be related to this problem thanks guys

Could be. The computer uses that data to go to closed loop, and to determine operating parameters when in closed loop.

well i just got back from purchasing the sensor now just have to wait for it to cool down my fan is also wired to a switch {previous owner} i know this isn't the forum for that problem but maybe its all related

new sensor is on and it did seem to help some it still wants to vibrate in drive at red lights and also does anyone know if i can adjust my idle speed its idling around 1200 in park wondered if i could bring that down some i looked for the screw to adjust it and the only screw i found had no way to turn it
