what CARB for my application

350 bored .30 over
Twisted wedge heads
LT4 hot cam
1.6 roller rockers
F.M pistons/rods
Performer 2101 intake


looking for a decent carb for my application, i was guessing a 650-700 dp would work.

suggestions?

That's about right.

Have you considered an RPM intake?

no i havent, i had this given to me from a friend, would the performer allow it to rev quicker? better power band i assume.

The Performer is a slight upgrade from a stock intake.

The Performer RPM is a higher powerband dual plane intake that will better match your cam's powerband.

Probably more than that. The Twisted Wedge heads have pretty large ports. The Hot Cam will rev to 6000 RPMs easily. The Performer intake will hurt you starting at around 5000 RPMs, which would leave a lot on the table.

with my application, would it be smart for me to go to a larger cam? i have the front bumber off, all id need is to take the WP off, timgn chain cover ect... i just figure im that close why not. unless my setup now is fine.

Id do the RPM intake. The Hot cam will go to 5800RPM and the Performer is good to just at 5000RPM. Considering peak power probably isnt 5800 but probably is still upwards of 5000. You are leaving some on the table there IMO.
Keep the cam, swap the intake
