Fuel regulator & Fuel filter Questions
I a in the middle of plumbing my camaro . My question is can I put my fuel filter (2.5 canister type ) before my fuel pump , and will I need one in the line between the pump and carb .
I also want to know if I can run both lines to my 4150 carb from the regulator . One line in two lines out . I do not want to plug the one side of the regulator .

Summit mechanical 110 GPH and a Holley HYL-12-803 with a nice mounting bracket that sits right next to the carb .

You can run a low-restriction filter before the pump if you like. The strainer in the tank is usually good enough, though.
You shouldn't need a regulator. But, you can run a line to each bowl if you like. Just don't make it rubber if you plan on going to the track (not a good idea if you aren't going to the track). Steel braided is acceptable.

Re: Fuel regulator & Fuel filter Questions
Thanks all -6 fittings , I am just looking to have a clean look with as little joints as possible . I wanted to put the canister in before the pump , so I do not have to put a filter in the line from pump to carb . I think I will run the pump to canister . I also says to vent filter with engine running

You should have a pump between the pump and regulator. And the filters in the bowl inlet. So says Holley.

Re: Fuel regulator & Fuel filter Questions
You mean between the pump and regulator . No filter in the carb at all .

Right, a filter between the pump and regulator (must have been late).
And, get filters in the bowl inlets.
