trying to get a decent distributor for my new setup
im getting rid of my fuel injection and going with a carburator since i have big plans for summer '10 and there is noone in my area that tunes my car. Anyways ive read some good reviews about the ebay distributors and they look identical to the msd ones.

i have a 6a msd ignition with a msd blaster coil the little squared one not the cylinder one <- can i use that coil w/ a distributor like that?

There's a big difference between looking just like MSD and being just like MSD.
If this is going to be street driven, you want a distributor with vacuum advance.

I am currently swapping over from EFI as well. I went with a DUI (http://www.performancedistributors.com/gmssdui.htm) as I have heard nothing but good reviews about them and very well respected by my machine shop.
They also custom curve it to your specs, so its not just a plain jane off the shelf unit.

I would recomend Petronix Flame Thrower. It is truly a bad ***.

I rebuilt my stock HEI with Petronics kit and added the Second Strike box works great for me!

i went with the distributor listed above and it seem of pretty good quality, i have not yet tried it out since i'm still waiting on my carb to arrive but we'll see how it performs.
