Qjet issues
Hi guys i recently got my car back up and running from an exhaust upgrade project that turned into many other minor projects. Long story short... i have removed all of the remaining vacuum and emissions components aside from the egr valve. The car runs but stumbles under load at low rpm but improves at mid-range but has no power in the upper rpm range and the secondaries are not opening. I'm thinking that the removal of all the emissions crap has thrown the mixture out of wack now. The timing is set at about 12 degrees before tdc (from my knoledge has always been). I'm hoping that i don't have to replace the carb because i know that if you can get them tweaked just right they are one of the best carbs you can have. Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Qjet issues
Everything still computer controlled? Does the new exhaust have the oxygen sensor connected? That was a pain when I put the headers on. "here's where you put your sensor. haha! your wire's too short!" Obviously check for vacuum leaks, proper plugging where any hoses were, egr properly connected.

yea it is still computer controlled and yea i had to extend the O2 sensor wire also. As far as i can tell all the possible vacuum locations are plugged. Plugged them as i disconnected them. As far as the egr... it was never removed.
