weird carb problem

so, i have a holley 4150/60 (dont know exactly which one).

well, just had it rebuilt, cause it had been sitting in a garage for god knows how long...anyway, getting to the final stages of getting my car running and driving.

installed a new fuel pump thats not an intank, its an inline and its mounted on the drivers side right above where the fuel lines meet the intank parts.

im getting fuel to the carb, but, its not shooting into the chambers, its shooting out of the top, that little hole next to the choke butterfly. (dont know what its called)

anyone have any ideas whats goin on?

Re: weird carb problem

have you checked the fuel pressure at the carb...if thats ok I would think about a stuck or miadjusted float. Good luck

Re: weird carb problem

ended up being that the guy that rebuilt it, forgot to put the c-clips on the floats, so the floats weren't workin properly.

all good now.
