should i change my jets?
what's up guys?
i have a holley 600 cfm and i need some opinions on carb jets. i just had the carb rebuilt and it runs great. the problem is i dont think it's giving my 350 enough fuel. it currently has 59 in it and i was thinking of going with a 68 or so. do you think this will increase my horse power or will this change hurt me.
i have a 350 bored 40, decked 10, 268 comp cam, flat top pistons, headers, flomaster muffler, stock heads with a stiffer spring.
my brother has a dodge with a set up close to mine. when we lined them up we were even at first but then he started pulling away from me. he has a holly 670 with size 72 jets and i think this may be the reason.

You need to jet for proper mixture.
You aren't going to be able to jet for best power when street racing - you need quantitative data like dyno HP or drag strip MPH.
59's sound pretty small, but if they were too small, you'd be getting surging under cruise conditions. Also, it sounds like you only have replaceable jets in the primaries, but the secondaries play a big part in WOT power.
