please help, easy question.

do you guys know the name of this hose? actually its more like a thin plastic line kind of connection, one end is to something that looks like some canister, and the other plugs into a tube on the carburetor. i want to fix it but i don't what to ask for when i go to advance auto lol. thanks for your help.

that is the vacuum line to the egr valve. you may have to replace it with just a piece of rubber vacuum line.

oh ok. how do figure what size of hose i need? EDIT: nvm, had a brain fart hahaha. thanks for your help

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
That line should not go directly from the EGR valve (the "canister") to the carb. It should go to a solenoid (computer controlled) which has a vacuum source from the carb, or a thermal vacuum switch (Canadian-delivered LG4). https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...-diagrams.html

yes i saw a diagram from autozone and it wasn't connected to the carb. so i guess i have two disconnections?
