EEC Canister Question
I realize this is a little out of place here, but I bet this has come up in more than a few TPI-to-Carb swaps.
In my quest to migrate from the stock ECU to the EZ-EFI setup, I've run across an issue which I need help with. I have an 89 TPI Formula; my charcoal canister is not compatible with the new EZ setup, I'd keep it if I could however it is controlled by the stock ECU so I think it has to go.
I'm guessing the best option is to plug the line from the tank and install a vented gas cap (which i have). So...what do i plug the line with? I know whatever rubber has to be fuel-safe but I'm unaware if fuel-safe caps are available. Moreover, is this still a safe method to use?
Also, if you have a better option please chime in.
Thank You.
Eric
