Edelbrock 650 Carb
Edelbrock 650 Carb
I have a Edelbrock 650 carb on my 350. My question is, what are the three vacuum lines in the front for? I have 2 of the 3 hooked up. The left(black and yellow hose) is hooked up to my distributor and doesnt do much, even disconnected it doesn't suck in or push out any air. and the middle one is hooked up to a breather on my valve cover, but the right one is capped off. If you take the cap off you can here its sucking air. What is that supposed to be connected to?

As I said in your other thread, the small one on the left in your picture is the "ported" or "timed" vacuum port, which doesn't get vacuum until the throttle is opened.
The center, large port, is for the PCV valve. Did you use a valve, or just stick it into the valve cover?
The other small port on the right in your picture is the full time vacuum port, also known as manifold vacuum. You can use it for vacuum advance, or anything else that requires full time vacuum (usually used for emissions control devices when not used for ignition vacuum advance).
