TA Fog Light opening for a cai or ram air?
I'm just curious as to if anyone has ever removed the fog lights and used the holes to make a ram air setup? I have a 3" air cleaner and a 4" Glasstek hood but here in Texas it's so hot that I don't think my hood is really making a difference. I'm trying to find a way to get cooler air to the carb and thought of this. So if anyone has some innovative ways of making this work I'd really like to see it. Thanks

I know many have done it. You might want to check the pictures sticky or the Fabrication forum.
Cowl works better than an open element under the hood. Assuming you have the air cleaner sealed off from the engine compartment.

i got an electric fan and put it on a switch. I took the radiator support off a v 6 camaro got the air intake off a v 6 camaro. a straight tube from pep boys and a single spectrem inlet from pep boys to sit on top of the carb and removed my fog lights. it's great ram air an it looks neat.
