Quadrajet Accelerator Pump Rod Stuck!!
I have a Q-jet that I bought from Summit (SUM-210216) in February. Recently, its felt like somethings hanging up on the throttle linkage. I decided to investigate further, and found, that the accelerator pump rod is stuck in the up position, and feels like its hitting something when I try to push it down with my finger. I tried searching all over this site, and everywhere on the internet, and came up with nothing, so Im hoping someone on here can help me figure out why its stuck?

Re: Quadrajet Accelerator Pump Rod Stuck!!
You're going to have to open it up. Keep in mind that the lever pushes down on both the TPS plunger AND the booster pump. If your lever doesn't want to go down it could be either of these that is binding.
If you're careful you should be able to re-use the airhorn gasket. Tell us what you find or post a pic.
