Starter Wiring Diagram
I have looked everywhere & cannot find a decent wiring diagram for the starter. I have redone almost all of my wiring. I labeled most of the wires. The problem is it rains so much where I live that it washed all the ink off of the masking tape bc all my work outside. I I know which wires go to the starter i just dont know which wire goes where on the starter. If someone could help that would be awesome!

Re: Starter Wiring Diagram
Your starter should have 2 terminals, a larger one and a smaller one. Everything connects onto the larger terminal EXCEPT the purple wire, which connects to the smaller one.

Let's make it simpler - the ones with the large eyelets go to the large terminal along with the positive battery cable, and the ones with the small eyelets go to the small "S" terminal.
I haven't seen it personally, but I believe I've heard that TBI cars had a second wire on the same terminal as the purple start wire.

That doesn't show 2 wires on the "S" terminal, so perhaps I was remembering incorrectly.
