help with idle
Hey guys, so I got my 85 camaro about 2 months ago (I'm pretty sure it's a Z-28 as it has a 305 Carburetor, and no Iroc-z markings). The stock gauges did not come with a tach. and when I crank the car it feels like it's idling fast even after warming up.
1.) should I look into getting an aftermarket tachometer?
2.) is there any possible way to control the idle (how fast or slow it is)?
I'm obviously a noob at all this...BUT I"M TRYING!!!

About the fast idle adjustment IMO probably best to get a gauge or meter of some kind to read tach before trying any adjustments. You could search this forum for fast idle adjustment.
How's it run otherwise?
