Engine dieing on sharp left turns
I put this in the carb section because I know its the carb, I am running an Edelbrock 600cfm forgot which one, the conclusion I have come to is the float dip down and kills the fuel flow to the cylinder which didn't help when I was practicing the slalom and ended up losing my steering
. Any input would be great on this issue

Re: Engine dieing on sharp left turns
dude, call edelbrock tech help...........internet searched filled with guys having same issue. my freind has same issue on his 850 edelbrock. if it has the baffles in the float chambers and your float level set good i dont know hoss..........call edelbrock. it is odd though the float is in the rear on them and most others are in front yet edelbrocks seem to have stallign issues...

Had the same issue with a 750cfm edelbrock carb.
Some things that will help. Fuel pressure less is better.
Float setting. Try a slightly different float height and drop spec.
The default factory spec is a good place to start but may not be optimum.
Small adjustments in the float height can make a big difference.
There are Off Road style spring loaded carb needle seat assemblies you can swap in. Edelbrock service parts.
