Re: need to know

what air filter would be the best for this? i have a k&n air filter but i need the tube kit for it which is like $100. is there a difference between a edelbrock round air cleaner and a triangle air cleaner like as in which has better air flow between all 3 the circle, triangle, or my k&n air filter with the tube kit?

The Edelbrock foam triangle is known as the "triangle of death". It's worse than no air cleaner at all.

Any typical open air round air cleaner that clears the carb and fits under the hood should be fine.

That carb is missing the secondary air valve, you're probably going to find it stumbles pretty badly when you get into it.

Re: need to know

just grab you a regular breather and put a filter on your valve cover. As far as the screw barely holding on i beleive its oreillys autoparts that actually have all those little ball ends and bolts for the linkages pacific for edelbrock dunno if you have an oreillys near you though

Re: need to know

Looks like an Edelbrock 1406, had one on my '79 bird. It appears that your pcv isn't connected either.
