Old Gas
So I am finally working on my 92 again and about to hook up the fuel lines to the regulator & carb but the tank has very old gas in it, like 4 - 6 years old.
I located the wire to the pump and I am planning on hooking up 12V to it to pump out all of the old gas.
Is there any reason I should NOT do this?
I don't want to drop the tank, but I can and if I do I'll get a new pump. And if I do have to do this, any pump recommendations? I have a fresh 350 w/ mild cam & Holley 650 on it.

Re: Old Gas
thats how i did it when i dropped the tank. just dont keep the pump running after it stops spiting out the gas. and you wont be able to get ALL the gass out, but most of it.
