Carb Selection.... and regulator

Hey Guys, it's been a while but I'm back.

I'm finally putting the LT1 in my car but due to some recent changes, I'm going to carb it. Now I know I'm probably gonna get some flack for this, but as of right now I have everything to do this except for a carb. The 305 in my 92 is a ticking time bomb and I need a transplant as soon as possible. Now I plan on putting fuel injection in the near future but for right now I'm just throwing a carb on it.

Now the two carbs I have been debating over is the:

Holley Street Avenger - http://www.jegs.com/i/Holley/510/0-80670/10002/-1

or

Road Demon - http://www.jegs.com/i/Demon+Carburet...020VE/10002/-1

I'm going with a hardline for the Holley if I choose it. Also do you guys have any suggestions for a regulator? I need one that has a bypass.

Any input will be greatly appreciated

Re: Carb Selection.... and regulator

I've got the Road Demon on my '91 RS, and once I get the distributor wired up, I believe it's gonna be pretty sweet. As far as the regulator goes, Jegs offers one from Aeromotive, which is designed for EFI to Carb conversions. That is the one that I'm running on mine, I can't remember right off the part number, but if you call Jegs and talk to their technical sales associate, they can get you hooked up, with the right one.
