Car won't start

I have an 82 TA with the 305, not original came out of a 84 pickup, and computer controlled carb, not the original one but from the same year, and my problem is the car will not start. I started at TDC to adjust the distributor, then put new plugs and wires on. The car does have spark and fuel is getting to the carb, so my question is why is my car not wanting to start? When I crank it all it does is turn over. Thanks

Re: Car won't start

Sorry its taken so long to respond. After changing the spark plugs and putting on a new distributor cap the car has finally come to life!
