I have an 85 carburatated fbird an it's my first car that has a carburator I'm so used to having a fuel injected car so I'm not sure in starting my car on a hot an cold start. I was told to just pressed on the gas pedal once and just turn the key but even when I do that my car turns for awhile before starting or some times I have to press the gas pedal while it's turning, I'm not sure if that's normal or not cause it's hurts hearing my engine turning that long. Sometimes it will pick up right away but that rarely anybody has a better way starting it??
